Caroline Campbell, M.D.

Caroline Campbell, MD is a dermatologist with advanced training in medical, procedural, and aesthetic dermatology. She provides comprehensive dermatologic care across all ages, with clinical interests in cutaneous oncology, wound healing, and the management of complex skin conditions.

She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia, where she completed an intern year in general surgery before training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where she completed her dermatology residency and served as Cosmetic Chief and Wellness Chair. She also completed a fellowship in dermatopharmacology at Mount Sinai, leading and collaborating on clinical trials investigating emerging therapies in dermatology for children and adults.

Dr. Campbell is joining the Mount Sinai faculty as an Assistant Clinical Professor, continuing her connection to academic dermatology through resident education and clinical innovation. Her research has been published in leading dermatology journals and presented at multiple national conferences, including annual meetings of the American Academy of Dermatology. She was recognized as a Rising Derm Star at the Winter Clinical Dermatology Meeting for her research in enhancing skin cancer detection. She has authored multiple textbook chapters and remains committed to advancing the field.

Dr. Campbell is certified in wound care and was awarded a national scholarship to complete advanced board certification through the American Board of Wound Management. She views healing as a process that restores not only the skin, but also the quality of the human experience. Her clinical philosophy blends medical, surgical, and aesthetic expertise with a holistic approach to skin longevity, health, and balance.

Originally from Georgia, Dr. Campbell brings warmth and multifaceted clinical training to every patient encounter. She recently traded New York City for Napa Valley, drawn by the region’s balance of natural beauty, community, and wellness. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with SPF 50+ and sun protective clothing, wine tasting, and golden hour walks with her dog.
